Finding your way around
Navigation fits in a sidebar, in two groups. On a narrow screen, it collapses. Your credit balance sits in the top bar, on every page.
The “Create” group
Section titled “The “Create” group”Generate
Section titled “Generate”This is where you paste a link, choose your portion and settings, and see the amount before launching. See Your first generation.
Projects
Section titled “Projects”A project is one source and everything that came out of it. The grid shows one card per generation: the thumbnail of the original video, its title, the number of clips, the date and the time left before deletion. A monitored live stream makes a single card, all segments together; a failed generation keeps its own, marked “Failed”.
A card opens on its clips. Its “…” menu lets you rename it, delete it, or retry a failure. See Your projects.
Brand template
Section titled “Brand template”Logo, banner, font, colour grading: what gets burned onto your clips. You can create several templates, mark one as default, and choose which one applies before each launch. See Brand templates.
The “Distribute” group
Section titled “The “Distribute” group”Live Monitor
Section titled “Live Monitor”Watching a channel: on Twitch and Kick, ClipHeat cuts clips during the stream; on YouTube, it processes the channel’s new videos. Included in the Studio plan. See Monitoring a live stream.
Publishing
Section titled “Publishing”Four tabs: Statistics, Published, Schedule and Accounts. This is where you connect your accounts (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Threads, Bluesky), follow your scheduled posts and see the numbers of those already out — and your account’s: views per day, followers, best moments to post. See Publishing and Statistics.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”In the account menu, at the top of the sidebar. Four tabs:
| Tab | What you find there |
|---|---|
| Account | Your address, its confirmation, how you sign in, end-of-generation emails. |
| Plan | The current plan, credits, storage used, connected social accounts, the history of movements. |
| Security | Password, API keys, and the guided tour to replay. |
| Interface | The app’s language and browser notifications. |
See Account settings.
The foot of the sidebar
Section titled “The foot of the sidebar”| What it is for | |
|---|---|
| Report something | A problem, a billing question, an idea. The reply comes by email. |
| Discord | The community server. |
| API & MCP | Driving ClipHeat from your own tools. Included in the Studio plan. |
| Help Center | This documentation. |
| Service status | What is working and what has an incident. The first thing to check when something fails. |
Generations in progress
Section titled “Generations in progress”When a generation is running or waiting, its card shows up right away in Projects, with the video’s thumbnail, and an animated mark lights up on the tab. The top bar only flags it when the queue is full or a live stream is being watched. One generation runs at a time per account; if you start another, a window reminds you before it goes to wait its turn.
Language
Section titled “Language”The interface comes in French and English. The quickest way: the account menu, at the top of the sidebar, Language entry — it shows the current language and opens the list. The same setting is in Settings → Interface. The website and this documentation follow your choice. This choice does not change the subtitle language, which is set for each generation.
Answers come from these pages only. If they do not cover it, you will be told.
