Following a generation

Once the generation is started, you land in Projects: its card shows the source video and the time left. You can close the page: the generation carries on without you.

The “running” pill in the top bar also takes you to Projects. A running generation has no screen of its own: its tracking screen, with its clips, opens from its card once it is finished.

Step What happens
1 Fetching the video Downloading the source, or receiving your file.
2 Transcribing What is said, timestamped word by word.
3 Looking for highlights The analysis picks the passages. The most-replayed curve steers it when it exists.
4 Cutting the clips Each moment becomes a clip.
5 Reframing to 9:16 The frame follows the speaking face, or the subject.
6 Checking the clips Inspecting the clips produced and picking their thumbnails.
7 Finishing up Subtitles, branding, delivery.

Clips arrive together, at the end: they all appear at once when the last step is done, not one by one.

One generation at a time per account. If you start more, they wait their turn, twenty at most, and start one after another. A window reminds you before you start, with See the running generation or Start anyway. Each waiting generation already has its card in Projects.

When one generation is running and twenty are waiting, the queue is full: a new request is refused, and nothing is charged. Start it again when a slot frees up. An active live stream watch also takes the generation slot.

  • Close the page. Nothing stops.
  • Go elsewhere in the app. The banner follows.
  • Stop the generation, from its card’s … menu in Projects → Stop the generation. The clips already produced stay in your library. Stopping is final.

A failed generation is not charged.

It does not disappear: its card stays in Projects, marked “Failed”, with the reason and what fixes it. Its … menu offers Retry, which reopens Generate with the link already in the field. See A failed generation stays visible.

In Projects, every generation is a card, and every monitored live stream is a single one. Clicking a card reopens its tracking screen, with its clips; a live stream’s card opens the stream’s page, segment by segment.
